Lowell Fillmore Dunbar, widely known as Sly Dunbar, is a highly influential Jamaican drummer and producer.
As one-half of the Riddim Twins alongside bassist Robbie Shakespeare, Dunbar revolutionized Jamaica's drumming style and left an indelible mark on the music scene.
His collaborations spanned across reggae legends like Peter Tosh, Black Uhuru, and the Mighty Diamonds, as well as internationally acclaimed artists such as Bob Dylan, Grace Jones, and the Rolling Stones.
With numerous solo albums and Grammy-winning works as Sly & Robbie, Dunbar's rhythmic mastery and innovative production techniques have garnered immense praise.
